Professional practice: working with a director; requirements of client; requirements of audience
If you are going to be making a production for someone else's video, you will need high code of conduct and to ask about every aspect, for instance I needed to know: how fast it should be, what instruments should be used, how I could make it effective for the audience etc. I would let the director listen every time I changed the track, asking for the positives and negatives. Eventually, we would meet upon a conclusion to draw the final work together.
Creativity: using audio track to complement the visual content of a production (speech, music, ambient sound, SFX)
I decided to create an audio track consisting of a steady bass beat with a simple melody. The main focus of my soundtrack was my attention to detail with sound effects rather than too technical a musical composition. I altered all the levels appropriately so that they dialogue and I made sure it didn't drown out what is said by the voice actor.
